NCA Acts of Gratitude Details

In addition to the NCA Walk-a-Thon fundraising, we are inviting students and our school community to express gratitude with various “Acts of Kindness” over the next few weeks.

  See details below…

ACTS OF GRATITUDE Community Projects Details

Week One Acts of Gratitude Mission

  • For this week, use a piece of sidewalk chalk and spread some cheer in your neighborhood! Write an encouraging note, draw a picture, or write out your favorite Bible verse.
  • Take a picture and email it to:   Post it on social media, tag NCA, and use the hashtag #ncagratitude

Week Two Acts of Gratitude Mission

  • For our second week of Gratitude, draw a picture and write words of gratitude for the Everett Police Department.
  • Did you know they are directly involved at NCA, providing frequent visits and check-ins to help keep us safe and secure? The Everett Police Department makes time for us and our community because they care.  We will present all collected cards to the Everett Police Department in June.
  • All students who return their cards to NCA by June 4th will be entered into a drawing for a fun prize!
  • Have your parents take a picture of you and your card. Then email it to:
  • Post it on social media, tag NCA, and use the hashtag #ncagratitude

Week Three Acts of Gratitude Mission

  • It’s time to deliver some flowers! Print this blank stem to use as a template. You can either draw a flower or fold an origami flower and attach it to the sheet. Write a thank-you note and deliver it to a neighbor, leave for your mailperson, or give it to anyone that you are grateful for!
  • Take a picture and email it to:
  • Post it on social media, tag NCA, and use the hashtag #ncagratitude
