Recess is the favorite time of day! Unstructured play gives our children time to practice what they learn. Character and bible lessons weave into their actions and attitudes as they play. They will succeed and they will fail. But the goal is working those Godly character qualities into the fabric of their hearts and souls. And often our strengths are also reflected at times as weaknesses. We believe that all things work together for good to those who are in Christ Jesus. Each year we emphasize skills through a Kindness Week, Friendship Week, Bully-prevention month, May Goodness projects, and class service projects for the needy.
Our prayer: “Lord Jesus, we ask You to help our children to not forget to do good, to not forget to share with others. Help them to see how please you are with these sacrifices. Also, Lord, help them to submit to the authorities that You have put over them and help them to see the benefits of doing so.” Hebrews 13:16-17”
