Physical Fitness

The NSAE Sport and Fitness Class will introduce a variety of sports and games into your child’s life. In addition, these fun-filled activities will encourage the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle. The structure of each class will always begin with warm up activity and dynamic stretching, followed by an introduction of basics and techniques of the sport, and conclude with a game to demonstrate the skills and practices your child has learned during the class. 

Over 7 weeks the following sports and activities will be introduced: soccer, basketball, hockey, kickball, cart activities, track and field basics, Frisbee target (can jam), fun fitness, hospital soak ‘em, football, and tag games.

The soccer, basketball, hockey, and kickball classes will be basic skills and techniques followed by a game at the end. The track and field class will go over basic running form and starting positions, sprints, long jump, shot put, and relays with a baton. The main purpose for the Sport and Fitness enrichment class is to provide a safe and fun environment for your child to learn new sport basics and to stay active!
