Welcome to our 2024 Summer Reading Challenges!
As you make plans for the beautiful summer ahead, please include time to enjoy reading and the adventure of good books. Reading over the summer will be important to avoid learning loss and start strong in September!
Below you will find information on two challenges, Elementary and Middle School, as well as reading resources which include other reading programs with local libraries, etc. Please use the specific form for your child's age group. NCA's challenges end the day before school start! Go readers!
elementary summer reading challenge
Kindergarten through 4th Grade will be participating in a Summer Reading Challenge! Each time you finish reading a book this summer, fill out this form between June 14-Sept. 3, 2024. In September, we will see how much we read and celebrate!
Additional Elementary Reading Activities:
- Print the Reading BINGO Sheet and return to our library for a prize: Summer Reading Challenge Bingo
- Design a Bookmark and submit it to our library: Bookmark Contest

Middle School summer reading challenge
As you start your summer vacation, make sure to include some time for reading. Middle schoolers can participate in a Summer Reading Challenge! Each time you finish reading a book this summer, fill out this form and you will be entered into a raffle for a gift card. The winner will be announced in the fall.
