summer reading challenge 2026

As you plan for a fun and relaxing summer, be sure to set aside time for reading and the adventures that great books can bring. Summer reading helps students maintain the skills they worked hard to build during the school year and prepares them for a strong start in September.

We encourage all students to participate in a summer reading challenge. When school begins, bring proof of your completed reading challenge to your first library class to celebrate your accomplishment!

Below, you'll find a variety of printable reading logs to help track your summer reading progress. Happy reading, and enjoy your summer adventures!
