NCA Cheer

Northshore Christian Academy Cheer Program

The NCA Cheer Program is a vibrant part of our school community, bringing energy, encouragement, and school spirit to events throughout the school year. Open to elementary and middle school students, the program provides an opportunity for girls to grow in confidence, teamwork, and leadership while proudly representing NCA.

Our cheerleaders typically practice weekly during the school year, where they work on cheers, motions, teamwork, and performance skills. Throughout the season, the squad cheers at home basketball games for both our boys’ and girls’ teams and may also support other athletic events such as flag football.

Beyond athletic events, our cheerleaders participate in activities that celebrate and support our school and local community. The team may:

Participate in local community events, such as holiday parades
Encourage other student programs, including cheering on teams like Robotics during school gatherings
Perform cheer showcases during school events such as Open House
Prepare special performances for major school events like the annual Walk-A-Thon

Our program welcomes students of all skill levels, whether they have prior cheer experience or are trying it for the first time. We encourage interested students to attend a Lions Club Cheer Clinic when available, which helps develop strong cheer basics and confidence in motions and technique.
