Our students have worked diligently preparing for the Speech Meet! All 1st through 8th graders participated. Speeches were practiced and polished. Our students gain in public speaking skills every year. This is a life long skill!
We believe that our public speaking program builds our students to be confident orators. We hear from NCA graduates on the life-long benefits of the Speech meet participation.
Training our children with top-quality communication skills is crucial and it involves a number of components. Here are some other components of our communication program:
- Language Arts emphasizing spelling, vocabulary, and grammar.
- Public Speaking: Concerts, drama, Spanish, bible memory, presentations.
- Writing Program: writing projects, journals, essays.
- Old fashioned handwriting and typing skills taught starting in 3rd grade.
We are proud of all of our students! God is working to develop their skills that will last a lifetime.
