PRAYER WALK SCHEDULE 2023-2024
Parents in Prayer Event
Join us on Friday, October 13, @ 8:45 AM in room A2 off the main lobby. The Parents in Prayer event is for friends, grandparent, dads, moms, uncles, aunts – everyone is welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned prayer warrior or just beginning to pray, we would love if you’d join us. Parent resources will be available. Stay tuned to the Need to Know for dates and information.
What is Parents in Prayer? It is an event where we hope to inform, equip and encourage parents to intentionally, strategically and fervently pray for their children, who are our next generation. Prayer does change things. See you there!
Greeting from The Moms in Prayer of NCA
We are all so excited to start this new school year! Moms in Prayer is an international organization that provides a platform for women – moms, grandmas, and friends to gather together and pray for our school, the teachers, staff, and our kids. We are so blessed that NCA has given us a place on campus where we can meet weekly to pray. Occasionally we also have staff members who come to pray with us.
You can check out momsinprayer.org for more information on the organization and see some examples of prayer sheets.
Our gathering is informal – we meet at 8:45 AM, after drop-off on Friday mornings in the prayer room just off the lobby next to the auditorium. You are free to come when you can and leave when you must. We pray for about an hour. We also do some prayer walks around the school and may have other prayer opportunities throughout the school year in the lobby.
Our prayer time is structured around the four parts of prayer and focuses on a different attribute of God each week. Praise, Confession (silent), Thanksgiving, and Intercession are the four parts of prayer, and are all guided and steeped in Bible passages. You may choose to pray out loud, or pray silently, whatever you are most comfortable with. Please join us for our scheduled Prayer Walks when we will be walking and praying over our precious students and staff.
