I completed my student teaching at Kings Elementary and Lake Stevens Middle School. When I’m not teaching, I love to hang out and play games with my friends as well as volunteer in kids' and youth ministry. This summer has been exciting getting married, moving into a house, and now starting as a 1st grade teacher at NCA! God is so good and I’m so excited for this new season to come.

Meet Kami McDaniel
1st Grade Teacher

Favorite Bible Verse:
Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
Fun Fact:
I love spending time with family and friends!
About Kami:
I grew up in Snohomish, Washington and attended NCA as a student from pre-K to third grade. In 2023, I graduated from Westmont College with my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. I then spent the next two years teaching STEM classes at Imagine Children’s Museum before God called me back to NCA. I enjoyed getting to teach various classes and programs through my work at the Children’s Museum, but am thrilled to be returning to the classroom!
