At Northshore Christian Academy, we love celebrating the incredible work of our alumni, and today, we’re excited to highlight Landon Hawley, a former student who is using his talents to share biblical truth and spark meaningful conversations within families.
Landon attended NCA from 3rd–8th grade (2006–2012), and in his final year, he participated in Alice in Wonderland Jr., a production that he said unexpectedly sparked his love for the arts and storytelling.
After NCA, Landon attended King’s High School and then Biola University, where he majored in Communication Studies and minored in Biblical Studies. He went on to intern with Family Life and the Jesus Film Project—both ministries of Cru—where he now works full-time.
Recently, Landon co-created a five-episode fantasy audio drama called The Road to Kaeluma, a project deeply rooted in biblical themes and family discipleship, and we are so excited to share it with our families! This audio drama is inspired by the parable of the Prodigal Son(s), and Landon explores the family dynamics between the father and two brothers through a fresh narrative lens.
What is The Road to Kaeluma?
The Road to Kaeluma is an epic audio drama suitable for ages 8 and up. It follows Auric, the son of a clan chief, and his loyal friend Vera, as they embark on a journey after the villainous Lord Saphorin attacks their home. In his quest for purpose and adventure, Auric takes matters into his own hands, leading to challenges, growth, and discovery. Along the way, listeners are invited to engage with powerful themes that resonate deeply with both children and adults.
